CoI disproved some websites and TV channels allegations that PM Noori Al Maliki refused to reveal his financial disclosure, CoI said that he was the first to take the initiative early this year.

CoI spokesperson Hasan Kareem Ati clarified that, such entities propagandized two obvious fallacies. The first was, the allegation was ascribed to CoI while no official met a representative of those entities and the spokesperson did not share a statement with them.

The second fallacy in that release alleged, that the Prime Minister refused to reveal his financial disclosure. While CoI announced on the 10^th of last December in a press release distributed by media center to mass media and was published on CoI website that, Mr. Noori Al Maliki was the first to reveal his financial disclosure among the government members and the executive authority.

He draw the attention that, those propagandists alleged that PM Deputy (Hussain Al Shahristani) also refused to reveal his financial disclosure. CoI spokesperson indicated that our news report was published on our website and distributed among mass media last march mentioned that Al Shahristani submitted his detailed financial disclosure to CoI.

CoI spokesperson was surprised that mass media will tumble into such mistakes, which not harm the targeted persons as much as its deep harm to that media institution and damaging its credibility as well as unsatisfying the public with their thesis or accepting their media message.
