A joint investigation team from CoI and the Ministry of Finance IG office captured four employees of Al-Dhilal Customs Directorate taking bribes.

CoI spokesperson mentioned that a big attention highlighted strongly on the site after receiving information based on CoI monthly surveys that reveals bribe levels in governmental institutions, which led to form a joint investigation team from CoI and MoF`s IG office to observe the performance and cooperation methods between the said directorate and petitioners.

Three seizure operations were achieved today by the joint investigation team according to judicial order, they captured four employees from Al-Dhilal Customs directorate taking bribes from petitioners.

The spokesperson clarified that the joint investigation team seized a huge amount of money possessed by those accused employees. They were referred to court alongside with criminal exhibits that convicted them with bribe and extortion offences.
