CoI`s Relations with NGOs Office accomplished during last October (35) activities of different goals within its program which aims at spreading the culture of integrity and fighting corruption.
The report issued by the office included its overall activities for the past month, which stated that its representatives executed (15) visits to a number of educational, cultural, media, and occupational offices, institutions, ministries, universities, organizations, and syndicates in order to coordinate and organize interviews, radio and TV programs.
The visits included the Ministries of Planning and Transportation, Al-Nahrain and Al-Iraqia Universities, the organizations of Ammar, International Relief, Mercy Corps, the International Organization (Tarabot), USAID, UNDP, Iraqi Jurists Union, Iraq`s Center for studies, and Teachers Association.
The office prepared an episode of Al-Nazaha wa Al-Nas program which was aired on Al-Faiha satellite channel and addressed the reality of General Directorate of Traffic and the actual need to improve its work to meet the citizen`s needs and the increasing number of petitioners due to changing number plates.
The office staffs performed two episodes of Al-Raqeeb program broadcasted by Sawt Al-Asima radio at the Municipality of Baghdad. The first episode focused on the role of women in building the national integrity system while the other two episodes addressed CoI activities in the National Integrity Week.
The report mentioned that the office held (6) cultural gatherings in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Higher Commission for anti-illiteracy, International Asian-Canadian Council, Teachers association, Divan of Christian Endowment and other religions ,which involved more than (1,000) participants from the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Al-Nahrain University, Christian, Yazidi , and Mandean denominations, and activists from CSOs.
The office employees participated during the last month in (5) training courses revolved around modern directions on human resources and its strategy, public relations, letters, responses of formal letters, and attending workshop on the agreement of cooperation between the official institutions and CSOs under the supervision of NGOs Office at General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
(1,150) students watched the show organized by the office in cooperation with the Experimental Theatre Organization, titled (Baituna Al-Kabeer; Our Great House).
