COI: Iraq renew his invitation to TI to exposure countries hiding the thefts of public money and kept them loots

Iraq renew his invitation to TI to issued annual report indicated the countries according to the numbers of thefts resident in its territory and kept the loots belonged to other countries similar to the its report that dealing with most corrupted countries.

the Iraqi delegate, in round table meeting which held in dead sea region and organized by TI, emphasized that some countries provided save haven for corruptors, protected them from prosecution and investment the stolen money consider the most dangerous practices which promote crimes of corruption, urging it and expanded it phenomena.

Head of delegation, DG of Iraqi Anti-Corruption Academy Mudher AL Joboury expressed in his speech, his completely confidence that TI adoption of Iraqi suggestion issued questioner about the most countries hosting the loots will lead to disclosed the countries urging the practices of corruption before the international opinion and lead to review its political which it built on the benefit of proceeds of loots to supporting its economy and seeking to keep its reputation among countries which it lead to restrict the movement corrupts and blocked the ways of smuggling the public money.

He emphasized that TI(issued questioner) will achieved a main goal which is fighting and terminating corruption and preserve the dignity of nations represent steeling of national treasure offended its identity.

The delegate reviewed through it negotiation with other delegates the faces of cooperation between COI and civil society organizations and it desired to participated them in formulating draft of law and involved as observer in governmental experts and engorging the pressure on its government to response to efforts of extradite thief and loots, the delegate stressed the important of preventive side in activation of laws system and interest in analyses and proof the crime of corruption through developing the tools of working according to developed the means of crimes.
