During the National Integrity Week, CoI organized poetry festival for poems that talk about integrity ethics and fighting corruption.
CoI commissioner, Judge Alaa Jawad Hameed delivered his opening speech at the beginning of festival ceremony that attended by IG of ministry of financial and DG of Administrative and Financial Office in CoI. he praised the role of poets in addressing people feelings and conscious towards corruption crimes .
He stressed that those who has the responsibility to deliver their words in different forms and ways are basic pillar to support CoI in fighting corruption. They also help CoI plans in spreading integrity culture through effective honest word.
From other hand, CoI conducted dialogical symposium about the role of Iraqi journalism history in countering corruption crimes and spreading integrity culture.
The dean of Media college in University of Baghdad, Professor Hashim Hassan delivered a lecture which attended by Directors General of both Extradition office and Prevention office, some of employees, some of media men, journalists and those who concerned in follow up corruption cases. He spot the light on the role of press and media in revealing corruption phenomena since the modern Iraqi state establishment.
