In cooperation with unknown individual, the COI investigators in Basra Investigation Office, provided with a warrant from the integrity judge in Basra managed to arrest the secretary of the Compensation for Terrorism Victims Committee, taking of 4 hundred thousand of Iraqi dinars in bribes.
In this occasion, the COI is urging the public to cooperate with its offices across Iraq, and the special operations unit of the COI-based in Baghdad to report any corruption practices in the public sector in order to prevent such practices and support the National Anti-Bribery Campaign.
