CoI: the third conference for religion`s Minbar recommends speakers of Minbar to specialize a monthly speech to raise awareness within integrity, protection of public funds and fight corruption

Group of religious, thinkers, members of parliament, officials and other from upper class in society ask the speakers of Minbar and propagandist to specialize a monthly speech to raise awareness of integrity and acquaint peoples with their legislative, ethical and legalist commitment in fighting corruption in all its kinds and forms.
In this third conference (organized by CoI in cooperation with Sunni endowment) the participants stress on the great and effective role of religious Minbar in strengthening the values of integrity, transparency and virtue that were concentrated by spiritual legislative.
The participants confirmed in their final recommendations on the importance of cooperation between CoI and IGs offices in the endowments to promote the joint work in implementing cultural, preventive and informative programs that aim to raise public awareness in the principles of valuable ethics and ostracize perverted behavior.
The participants urge universities and research centers to set up studies about the effect of Minbar in building national integrity system as well as holding specialized scientific conference to determine the intellectual security challenge in Iraq and to find the mechanism and ways to deal with it. The participants suggested that the religious institutions will create studies and researches centers specialized with integrity cases and corruption aspects.
The Commissioner Judge Alaa Jawad Hameed stresses on the role of Minbar in highlighting good ethics and solicit people toward facing corruption practices.
The Commissioner required in his speech that efforts must be gathered specially those of religious Minbar for the benefit of integrity issue, protection of public funds as well as human dignity protection and the right of life.
Judge Hameed praises also on the steps and efforts of Sunni endowment to succeed the hold of the conference to complete the succeeded steps in previous conferences which one of these conferences was held in the Holy Alawi Shrine with the patronage of Shiite endowment. He hope that this success will create a public attitude to respect the public fund and to settle an account with those how transgress it regardless of their position, religion, sect, belonging and allegiance.
The Commissioner express his confidence that the Christian endowment and other religious endowments will have the same role through the occasions and religious meetings to concentrate on the significant purpose which was to protect public funds and spread virtue in society.
The head of Sunni endowment Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Ghafour Al Samarrai focused on everyone`s role (individuals and institutions) in rebuilding the country based on virtuous and strong grounds and employ their energy to fight corruption and face whatever is threatening the country of destruction and underdevelopment.
He emphasized, in the conference opening, on the seriousness of CoI significant role in educating people about corruption dangers and referring corruptors to the judicial authorities.
Sheikh Al Samarrai urged mosque imams to practice their religious responsibilities in enlightening citizens about values and ethics and avoiding irreligious and illegal practices as well as socially ostracized like asking for ill-gotten gains. Preachers focused on the entrusted people on public money like efficiency, experience and honesty.
Sabah Al Karbouli (Member of Parliament and CoR representative) addressed, in the meeting, the superior goals of CoI conferences in activating the religious minbar role in fighting corruption and stabilizing the national integrity basis to consider it as an orientation to protect divine religions values that came to straighten up life.
Mr. Sabah considered fighting corruption and deepening integrity values in society is everybody`s responsibility (individuals and institutions) as they are the citizenship basis that protect rights and guard the country`s wealth from theft and looting.
Throughout the meeting, three searches addressed the government responsibility and its president (in the beginning of Islam) to enhance integrity, fight corruption and divine religions role in spreading integrity concepts and methods of corruption confrontation as well as engaging the religious institution in forming a national integrity system.
The participants addressed that CoI should host its next conference about religious Minbars in coordination with Christian endowment and other religions.
