AL-Risafa Criminal Court, specialized with CoI cases, sentenced an employee in the Red-Cross Society and obliged him to return the embezzled money.

CoI Legal Office stated that the court sentenced the convict (S. A. N.) for five years and one month imprisonment after his confession of embezzling (232) Million Iraqi Dinars from the mentioned society according to a check organized by fugitive accountants (S.A.), (A.R.) and (A.S.).

After serving his sentence, the court stipulated that the convict shall not be released accept by returning the embezzled money to the Red-Cross Society and give it the right to sue him for compensation concerning his crime after the final decision.
