COI organizes two workshops to introduce its law and code of conduct in Meesan and Wasit

The investigation office and the education and public relations office in COI organized two workshops to introduce COI`s law, administrative structures and code of conduct in Meesan and Wasit based on its role aims at spreading integrity culture in society. The first workshop on 12/Jan./2013 was organized at Messan and attended by 400 persons from employees and directors.

 

Mr.Qaseim Hanoon, director of Messan office stressed in his opening speech on necessity to introduce and educate people the COI`s law and to spread legal awareness within employees in the province.

 

In the workshop margin, Mr. Abdul-Hussein Abdul-Ridha Head of Meesan province council stressed on COI important role to follow up corruption cases and corrupts and he regarded it as an important step to spread integrity culture in the province and expressed his thanks for COI`s efforts to organize specialized workshops.

 

Within the same context, The Judge Heidar Hanon, the head of court of appeal in Meesan confirmed the judicial role importance in following up corruption cases and after that a film on COI`s martyrs started.

 

The first lecture was deliver by Mr.Ayman Dawood Salman ,head of planning section at investigation office, in which he explained COI`s law No.30 of 2011. The second lecture by Mr.Salman Husein from Prevention office was about code of conduct. The attendees were allowed to give feedbacks and important notes that would clarify the idea and content to a large number of recipients.

 

COI in Wasit organized the second workshop on 23/Jan/2013 on COI`s law, administrative structures and code of conduct. Governor of Wasit Mr. Mahdi Hussein expressed his thank and gratitude to COI for organizing the workshop. He indicated that Iraq is going through construction stage and efforts need to be focused for the benefit of society.

 

The head of Wasit office made a presentation on COI`s offices structures work and welcomed and expressed his thanks to the attendees.
