The commissioner of COI judge Al`aa Jwaad Hameed confirmed that the protecting of public fund represents an advanced option among all activities and objects  that COI would work on in order to implement its national goal.

During his tour in nine provinces, Judge Al`aa met with the heads and officials of COI`s offices in those provinces and He said that COI is witnessing now its best time in regarding of law enforcement, professionalism and respect the public service responsibilities that are included in the public annual report of the past year.

He also referred that as an example of this approach is filling the COI vacancies depending on efficiencies and avoiding the patronage and favoritism.

The heads and officials of Missan ,AlMuthanah, AlBasrah, AlNasiriyah, Wassit , AlDywania, AlNajaf, Karballa and Babylon offices urged to utilize all capabilities in order to protect the citizens` rights. In addition, to provide all requirements for the Legal persons so they would be able to perform their duties in protecting the public interests within a legal framework. He also asked the high senior officials to disclose their financial statements referring that the year 2013 will be a year of a better performance for all employees.

The director general of investigation office the DG of extradition office called for following up the financial crimes and fugitives moreover to arrange cases files. He also focused on those cases, which caused big damages in the public fund.

The spokesman of COI stressed that corruption as a phenomena and crime could have many descriptions, while the integrity issue could be identified as a better solution to invest the human and financial resources. In this course, he said that we could give the COI a significant role to make the construction successful and to attract the investments projects.
