Iraqi Academy for fighting corruption in COI achieved great steps in its national scheme through spreading integrity culture and protecting society from corruption and corrupted behaviors.

The Iraqi Academy, which was established last year in 2010,organized [120] training courses, it was given to[1798] employees in COI, another oversight bodies, the training courses lessons focused on ethics of public office, its laws, the methods of administrating crises, enquiry, administrative investigation, all kinds of crimes, financial corruption, methods of collecting information, auditing contracts and governmental tenders.

The  training courses included the rules of interviews, public relation, administrative and accounting performance skills, legal legislation, methods of money recovery, extradition persons from another state. It contained the bases of international cooperation, forgery in the formal documents, role of mass media in fighting corruption and spreading integrity culture.

The Iraqi Academy organized three training courses according to the programs of reactive dealing in English language in order to improve the employees conversations with foreign bodies because COI considered an authorized commission in fighting corruption and recovering public money abroad through extradition office which established in pursuant to applicable law no[30].

Iraqi Academy seek to provide the necessary scientific sources for the training courses participants, teachers, researchers, thus it supplied its library with the recent edition issued in the field of law, economic, mass media, public relation, encyclopedia and different dictionaries. Its shelf contained [5667] titles addition to electronic library that included [255] compact disc and increased ten thousand of subjects.

In order to provide suitable place for the meeting, the conference hall hosted the meeting in the Iraqi Academy in [87]various occasions.

The Iraqi Academy hosted [10] workshops organized by COI with different bodies. The number of participants were[305] employees, its discussions focused on the role of mass media to achieve transparency, digital programming for governmental contracts, information crime and the delayed methods in ration card, the performance of investigation office,the role of education in bringing up the new generation and it included the content United Nation Convection for Fighting Corruption and national strategy in this regard.
