AL-Risafa criminal court sentenced (Zeena Saud Fraih) for a life time imprisonment after a conviction for Billions of money embezzlement from Baghdad Municipality.

The court decided to confiscate her immovable and personal property and return it to the Ministry of Finance including balances in the banks in Lebanon and Jordan beside the properties in Beirut.

The court informed CoI about its decisions so that Extradition Office starts its procedures to recover this money and give the right for Baghdad Municipality to demand the accused, in the courts, for damages.

It is worth mentioning that the accused embezzled, while working for Baghdad Municipality, about (14) Iraqi Billion Dinars.
