Under patronage of head of CoI judge Alaa Jawad Hmeed and remembering the martyrs of COI, who were martyred by the criminal burst that attacked Al–Rusaf investigations Office in 22-December last year.COI eulogized their martyrs by remembering and honoring their memoirs as first ceremony.

The anniversary commemorative ceremony started by reading from the Holy Quran and read Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of COI, It was followed by the speech of head of CoI judge Alaa Jawad Hmeed which began with a salute to martyrs of Iraq and COI who are blessed by the kindness of the creator and the creatures that made them deserve of their country praise.

He said that last year witnessed gloomy events when we loosed darling persons in the terrorist attacked by the enemies of the country and friends of Satan. The persons we loved were killed by cold blood because they called to fight corruption to achieve a bright future for their country.

He assured that the country was the aimed by everyone except terrorists. They attacked COI in Al–Rusaf investigations Office and he did not accept the injustice and unfairness that happened to Iraq widows and their orphans because of stealing of public money.

The head of CoI stressed that remembering the martyrs of COI did not represent their memory only and more than that to feel the pain of their families only, but it was reviewing to all these events and as commitment to their martyred in order to preserve the public money, and to prevent misuse of public office to create a community aimed to warrant the future in order to enhance the spirit of citizenship.

He clarified that the message of those martyrs was clear and we are going until the end through professional hard work,keeping off the personal benefits, fighting corruption and to enhance the work performance.

He added that COI exerts its offers to give its martyrs more than what it gave before and delivered their right to their families,Thus it must achieved that as soon as possible by removing the obstacles that might face them in achieving their petitions and in exceptional manner.

The first deputy of COI (Ezzat Tawfik Jafar) stressed from the other hand, that martyrs are an ideal and the hope to build the country, country free from terrorism and their sacrifice inspires us to fight corruption and the corrupt to build the country because terrorism never prevent us in performing the job.

The ceremony included a documentary film about COI martyrs, deliver a poem of the poet (Ali Mohammed Abdul Hassan) and the announcement of honoring the families of the martyrs of the financial rewards delivered by a committee which includes in its chairmanship a number of general directors in order to deliver the financial rewards to the homes of the families of the martyrs.

The ceremony which was attended by a number of general directors in COI and a large gathering of employees., ended by reiteration the oath of the martyrs to long for preserving the public money and to ensure its principles in order to serve the country.
