On the occasion of the combating corruption World Day CoI Department of relations with non- governmental organizations (NGOs) held first consultative meeting in the privet education sector by titled "Activating culture of integrity in private schools".
The meeting began with a speech by Mr. Hussein Salim Saadon, director of training programs in which he confirmed that "big business is like olive trees that grow slowly but live long and people get benefit from it along the generations".
To strengthen integrity and transparency concepts in educational institutions, whether public or private, is one of the major tasks that requires a lot of effort and work.
Mr. Saadon added that, success in this field would led to establish more success, and consolidate these concepts in the within a number of students by their teachers, and speared these values and concepts to other generations.
Mr. Walid Abbas Jawad pointed out that the meeting focused on the most three important axes namely the principles of the educational process, compliance and control mechanisms on implementation and class and non class activities that support integrity culture in private schools, the role of the educational supervision and competence in the educational process in private schools.
On the other hand, Mr. Adel Adnan Hasen, education Karkh 2nd DG mentioned that, the most important controls that must adhere to private schools in terms of duty hours and attendance of teachers, students and school shops controls.
Mr. Hasen added that there should be emphasis on the supervisor role.
While Mr. Ali Mahdi, manager of the domestic and foreign education pointed out the importance of establishing basic rules of the educational process in repairing and maintaining school properties and creating an association for private schools to be a link between education and privet schools.
