CoI investigation office convened its first annual conference under slogan "investigative work, reality and expectation".
Head of CoI, Judge Alaa Jawad Hameed, confirmed that the convention of the conference represents bold attempt to try and diagnose strengths and weaknesses, success and failure towards achieving the ultimate goal which is creating society free from corruption in which all work to build the best homeland.
He stressed that the work of investigators represents a great honor because it is creative effort for the cause of the sublime case which is the integrity in homeland the corrupts tried to defame its image and history.
HJC chief Judge Midhat Al mahmood who participated in the conference opening party commended the role of CoI investigators and stressed that they do great and honorable task. He said that judicial authority requires everyone to go in the way of justice so as not to judge somebody by guilt of another person or the criminals stay outside bars.
 Director-General of the Department of investigations introduced working paper on the current reality of work and requirements of advancement in accordance with the broad perspective of CoI work and programs of implementing its future plan.
 At the conclusion of the opening ceremony a number of offices and investigators who distinguished themselves in their performance in the past period were honored.
