Under the patronage of his Excellency, COI commissioner, judge Allaa` Jawad Hameed ,  the education and relations office has organized the third festival for short movies with a participation of 22 movies. Three of them won the first awards.
The COI continuously conducts such activities to contribute in enhancing spreading culture of integrity to embody the slogan of this festival (by creation and expressive vision we embody the culture of integrity). The COI commissioner welcomed in his speech all the participants in this festival activities and he also indicated the importance of promoting the spirit of citizenship in a way that build a base for the integrity culture which COI is seeking to spread. These movies address all corruption phenomena and their impacts to  contribute in building the government institutions, community and citizenship spirit. Moreover, he also confirmed that such activities could contribute strongly in making the citizen reject different forms of corruption and changing the negative ideas displayed in the movies into social traditions and practices that make the prevention against corruption a constant title for integrity in the Iraqi society.
During the festival there was a light show represented the value of martyrdom in building the new Iraq. This festival also addressed the description of the cinema role, as it is regarded as a promising achievement within the joint educational projects that were sponsored by COI, because it is considered as renewed arts which could touch the human feelings strongly.
The festival showed a brief of the participating movies and then the three movies that won the first prizes. The prizes were given by the sponsor of the festival , head of COI and number of DGs. " out of time" movie directed by" Hayder Abdul Ghani"  had the first  prize and the second prize went to " the Guard " movie directed by "Mustafa Al-Karkhi" .The third prize went to " Merry" movie directed by Asaad Abdul Hameed.
