A work shop was organized by CoI in
Deputy manager of relations with NGOS office in CoI reviewed the terms of the law No. (30) 2011 which put the frames of the missions and responsibilities for CoI, handling corruption aspects, cooperation with official institutes and NGOS concerned with transparency issues and separating integrity culture and finally how to fight corruption in the state bodies.
He clarified that CoI is moving towards this issue which essentially contacts citizens` life and their future to build the state of democracy institutes with two lines; the first line is spreading integrity culture according to permissive religion instructions and the social heritage which disdains the humanitarian decline in depravity and the illicit enrichment and damaging of citizens` interests.
The second line of CoI work is tracing corruption practices and investigating the evidences of the crimes such as taking bribes to insure penalizing offenders according to flagrant delict act , he mentioned.
Deputy manager stressed , through his speech about the workshop held with Noor Al-Shaheed organization, on the mission of CoI which is considered as a national case that can not achieve its noble goals without cooperation of all good officials , religious , Sheikhs of tribes and their full beliefs that corrupts people are as mattocks destroying the community , just like terrorists who are killing innocent people.
Chief with members of Al-Sadir city council, chiefs of local offices, NGOS representatives and many Sheikhs of tribes attended this workshop and listened to the dialogues.
Dialogues concentrated about; the basis of appointing officials in the public offices and how to choose the right person in the right place, working with punishment and reward principle , culturing on disclosing corrupts away from spite actions , calling for certain procedures to overcome performance difficulties in the offices and working to develop services sectors in the city.
