CoI referred, through the first quarter of this year, to the judiciary cases of officials convicted with manipulation involving more than 83 Iraqi Billions.

A quarterly report, by the legal office/CoI, revealed that CoI investigation offices investigated hundreds of cases involving manipulation and 1088 convicts were referred to specialized courts.

The report indicated that CoI investigation office Baghdad /AL-Rysafa referred, last three months, 67 cases, AL-Karkh office 101 cases, AL-Basra office 86 cases, Thiqar office 61 cases, Missan office 37, Babel 68 cases and Wasit office 72 cases.

AL-Muthana office referred 23 cases, Karbala office 31 cases, AL-Najaf office 27 cases, Diwaniya office 150 cases, Nineveh office 106 cases, Kirkuk office 113 cases, Saladin office 30 cases, Diyala office 63 cases and AL-Anbar office 53 cases.
