CoI offices referred (4365) cases, under investigation, in 2011 according to regulations that were given by the Law. The number of referred accused was (5682).

The highest number of referred cases was (594) and it was registered in October followed by September (548) cases then July with (524) cases.

The statistics, made by the Legal Office/CoI, showed the number of the distribution of these referrals is as follows:

-          (251) in February,

-          (302) in March and April,

-          (314) in May,

-          (286) in June,

-          (426) in August,

-          (330) in November,

-          (329) in December.

These numbers represent the cases that were processed by CoI investigation offices, accept for Kurdistan Region, and referred to the subject court to be reviewed properly.
