COI spokesperson stated that the Transparency International issued it`s annul report on 1/12/2011 regarding the perceptions indicators of corruption in the world. The report included (182) states,
COI has previously gave its notes regarding indicator performance results conformity and the standers of selecting Iraq measuring samples that, depends on samples taken from out side Iraq and also on limited standards in comparison with other states which its indicators appears to be better than Iraq.
The issuance of COI law no. 30 of 2011 will serve in complementing the means of fighting corruption by creating new mechanisms and channel that, were not mentioned in order 55 of 2004 (COI founding law).
The Transparency International indicators reports on corruption perception were not consider as indicators for the performance of monitoring authorities in the states for example: the state that, achieved high degree those who adopted complete procedure code, conducted the programs of transparency classification and the electronic government in offering services. Good systems were applied in the field of the general contracting in order to prevent corruption in comparison with the high degree of corruption in other state that do not apply those levels of standards , programs and rules.
The COI conducted international standards through its experience in fighting corruption field, and achieved good results in implementing its aims in pursuant to its applicable law. The right bath for completing laws standards and the mechanism for implementing the reforms in the administration systems ,financial, electronic programs by providing services , adopting the international level concerning the contracting and other reforms that still need to exert more efforts and time.
The report of International Transparency Organization for 2011 , and the improvement situation in Iraq will encourage the monitoring and governmental institutions , such as ; COI that adopted reforms and activating its work in order to achieve high degree of integrity in Iraq.
