CoI operation team in Karkuk investigation office succeeded to arrest a female employee working at Karkuk Real Estate Bank taking bribes of amounts reach to One million and five hundreds thousand dinar from peoples want their petitions accomplished by the bank.   The team, upon the information, made arrangements, in cooperation with the victims, to get the employee caught in red hand, after she failed to keep her promises and told her victims to get their money back.
The arrangements were to have arresting warrant from the investigative judge and to get a man entered into the employee house claiming his money back after supplying him with a cell phone and voice recording sets to intercept conversations between him and the employee. At the moment that the employee`s husband handed over the money to that man which was $ 700 and 530 thousand Iraqi dinar, the operation team broke into the house and arrested the two spouses in virtue of the two articles (307 and 310) of the Iraqi penal code. The investigative judge had issued an order of arrest against them and against their son who quarreled by hands with the ambush team. The son was separately arrested according to the article 230 of the penal code as he tried to resist arresting.
