The Commission announced that head of Dayala Governorate Council, his (2) deputies and all 26 members received subpoenas pursuant to provisions of article (340) of Iraqi Penal Code.

Speaking about subpoena, COI Investigation Office indicated that judiciary issued subpoena against the Head of Dayala Governorate Council, his (2) deputies and all 26 members following to the seizure operation implemented by COI’s investigation directorate at the governorate on disbursement vouchers cashed in contrary to regulations. The seized exhibits presented before the competent investigating judge who decided to issue the subpoena.
