COI declared that subpoena was issued against the former head of Karbala Investment Commission and a number of former members of the Investment Board according to the article330PC.

COI’s Investigation Office, while it talking about the details of the case it investigated and referred to the court, pointed out that Karbala court on corruption cases issued subpoena against the former head of Karbala Investment Commission and a number of former members of the Investment Board according to convection article.

COI added that the court on integrity cases issued subpoena based on investigations conducted by Commission on irregularities committed by granting a special investment license for a hotel project for more than (28) million dollars.

It is noteworthy that COI had announced earlier this month, that sixty arrest warrants and subpoenas were issued against PMs and local officials on charges of corruption and damage of public money.
