The Commission revealed subpoena issuance against the first deputy of Muthanna’s governor; based on the provisions of article (318) of Iraqi Penal Code.

COI’s Investigation Office, speaking about case details of investigate and referred to judiciary , indicated that the justice issued subpoena against the first deputy of Muthanna’s governor; pursuant to provisions of article (318) Iraqi Penal Code on blackmailing accusation in the case of referring (project of paving roads of Rumeitha district).

The Investigating Court on integrity cases issued subpoenas against local officials in the governorate. Subpoena is came under accusation in cases investigated and referred by COI to justice, including subpoena against the second deputy of Muthanna’s governor, a member of provincial council, a director general of investment in Muthanna and a director of the single window at the governorate’s investment, pursuant to the provisions of article (319) on changing license of investment.
