The commission explained the details of two arrest orders against former Ministry of Health’s IG and Al-Anbar Health’s DG.

The investigation office clarified the details of two cases that investigated and referred to justice, and noted to issue arrest and inspection order by investigation judge specialized in integrity cases against former IG of Ministry of Health and his wives, according to provisions of article (36) of money laundering and financing of terrorism law no.(39) of 2015, while he decided to put attachment sign on the real-estate (case issue ) and not to use them only by a decision of the competent court, in addition to banning the travel of the three defendants, and seizing their movable and immovable money.

In another case investigated by the commission and referred to justice, the office confirmed that the court specialized in integrity cases in Al-Anbar province issued arrest warrant against former DG of Al-Anbar Health office, according to provisions of article no.(316) on the charge of embezzling more than one billion dinars from the amounts of pension funds.

It is worth mentioning that, the commission had been announced at the beginning of this month on issuing 60 arrest and subpoena orders against deputies and local officials on charges of corruption and damage to public money.
