Investigation office revealed that it was able to seize manipulation and forgery operations in purchasing committee that belongs to Oil Products Distribution Commission in Basra, clarifying that the manipulated amount reached to (IQD 2) billion.

The above office pointed out that the seizure operation, which was implemented by a team from Al-Basra Investigation Directorate of CoI that moved to Oil Products Distribution Commission in the province, was able to seize the related documents of the subject, explaining that the purchasing and warehouse providing committee, referred the purchasing to couple fake suppliers by using fake vouchers of non-existence shops, where paid the amount of (IQD 2, 000.000.000) billion.

Adding that a duly seizure minutes of the sized items was organized according to the arrest warrant, and the investigative documents submitted before integrity investigation judge in Al-Basra to take the necessary legal procedures.

It should be noted that CoI curried out number of seizure operations in Al-Basra during 2019, and was able to thwart attempts to smuggle in its ports and entry points, in addition to returning real-estates the state property in billions of dinars.
