CoI disclosed that CoI investigative judge in Babel issued a decision to cancel a letter of replacing land plots in Al-Hilla, allocated in contrary to the regulations, after a work team of CoI investigation office in Babel seized manipulation in allocating lists of land plots to be distributed for non-eligible persons in the province.

The office indicated that the Investigative Judge on Integrity cases in Babel issued a decision to abolish a governor office’s letter, which has been approved in contrary to the regulations and law, in addition to a minutes of allocating and replacing 109 land plots in distinguished location in the province. It illustrated that a work team of CoI investigation office in Babel moved to Babel governor office, Al-hilla Municipality office, Sate Real Estate office and Martyrs and political prisoners foundations to ex ecute abolishing decision of allocation to keep the Public Money.

It added that the investigative judge issued an arrest warrant against Al-Hilla Municipality director and after arresting him, the judge decided to detain him under investigation. It mentioned that the values of the land plots estimated more than billions IQDs.

CoI announced on 10th of the current month that it seized manipulation cases in the list of allocating land plots for the martyrs of security forces to be distributed among powerful persons in Babel province.
