CoI commissioner (Dr. Salah Nouri Khalaf) and UNDP representative (Ahmed Al-Yasiri) discussed ways to support the commission and develop the skills of its staff.

The meeting, which was held at CoI headquarters and attended by DGs Investigation and Legal Offices of CoI, discussed ways of supporting the international organization to CoI’s capacities in general and developing the skills and expertise of its staff, especially the investigators.

The meeting discussed the organization`s contribution in the preparation of the National Strategy draft and the national index for integrity, of which the commission and in cooperation with other oversights bodies working on its completion.

The representative of (UNDP) expressed the readiness organization to provide the necessary support to CoI and oversight bodies, particularly in exchanging of experiences, training of staff and effective contribution in preparation drafts of the national strategy and the national integrity index.

CoI and UNDP held a workshop on 10th of October to identify the aspects of corruption and propose practical solutions to address them from media view in Integrity National Strategy, prepared by CoI and other oversights bodies.
