Nineveh Investigation Directorate’s staff seized 66 suspects trespassed on the archeological lands belonged to the state located in the middle of Governorate. 
Investigation Office/COI mentioned that a work team in Nineveh Investigation Directorate seized 66 suspects trespassed on the archeological lands belonged to Nineveh archeological Directorate and on the land located on the banks of the Khoser River. The Directorate noted that the defendants used the land for building stores and shops for the sale of construction materials.
The office mentioned that a proper seizure minute was organized and presented before investigative committee on corruption cases, accordingly, the committee decided to carry out an investigation in accordance with resolution no.54of2001 and arrest the suspects for investigation. 
It is noteworthy that COI announced in the fourth of this month, that it seized 44 suspects trespassed on the land belonged to state in the Nineveh Governorate.
