Commission of Integrity calls for providing appropriate environment for education, creating suitable mediums for examinations performance

Commission of Integrity called for providing the suitable mediums to perform examinations and education encouraging environment, as they are an effective role in raising the scientific level of students.

Commission of Integrity has requested the Directorate of Education in Wasit Province to take the required precautions via coordination with municipality efforts; to prevent rainwater leakage to some schools in province.

COI Prevention Office has constituted a team of investigation; to investigate facts of video tape reported by media and social networks which shows the rainwater leakage to the holes of a school in province through mid-term year examinations. The team moved at once to the site of the school (Al- Taqyia) in Seweira district and made direct communications with administrative deputy of Ministry of Education and the concerned parties in province; to investigate details of the subject and reasons stand beyond such situation.

In coordination with the engineering efforts and municipality in province, the team was able to pull out leakage water, leveled the front yard and paved it with substance of sub-base; with a view of preventing water leaks again.

In a letter sent to the governorate of Wasit, COI warned from repeating occurrence of such cases, calling to provide suitable environment for education; to participate in raising their scientific level, noting to the necessity for early preparation by the province to face and prevent such circumstances.

Number of mass media and social media sites posted a video tape shows rainwater leakage to the classrooms of a school in Wasit -Seweira while performing examinations of mid-term for the current school year.
