COI revealed today that it has been able to seize a woman who practices fraud on citizens, indicating that the accused promised fake appointments in a state institution.

CoI’s Office of Investigation confirmed, while talking about the detailed of the seizure operation that carried out under a writ and assuring that the staff of the Baghdad investigation office implemented the seizure operation according to the provisions of article 456 of the Penal Code against a woman who practices fraud on citizens, in returned for fake appointments in a state institution.

The Office pointed out that the seized accused, posted on social networking sites a declaration of appointment in one of the ministries for a sum of money, so the case was submitted before the judicial authorities that decided to catch the accused red handed.

CoI announced that its staff were able, after follow up and detection, to catch a woman red handed, while receiving a sum of money in a district of Baghdad.
