The COI offers apologies to Mr. Ali Atiya Shejer, head of Anti-Corruption Office of ThiQar province for what the Commissioner of COI said during a TV-interview with Al-Hurra TV channel, on August 30, 2010 that Mr. Atiya has faked his academic certificate.
Also the commission pays apologies to the ThiQar provincial council and its employees.
It`s worth mentioning, that the COI President by mistake referred to Atiya, but he meant the Head of integrity committee of Missan provincial council.
