CoI announced that the Ministerial Council responded to its proposal “as a part of its vision against corruption” on the operational advances granted for companies and contractors,

It indicated Ministerial Council’s approval at its se ssion held on 25\9\2018 about its proposal to not give operational advances only after completing a part of their work, and the advances are granted as much as the work done.

Confirming that the Ministerial Council issued a decision regarding the approval on recommendation of economic affairs committee to develop regulations and mechanisms according to a certain standard to award the bids, in case the contractor does not request operational advance, while keeping it paid to those who request it under the beneficiary’s consent.

Noteworthy to mention that this proposal, which was approved, is provided for in paragraph (17) from CoI’s vision for fighting corruption.
