Survey carried out by COI showed that most respondents indicated that the provided support in fight corruption field was far below the actual need of COI.
COI-Research and Sturdies Office indicated that it conducted a survey of the opinions of citizens through the website of COI and in field of activities carried out by COI’s offices for identifying the size of support provided to COI to withstand against the corrupts.
The office confirmed that 86% of the respondents agreed that the provided support to COI is less than the need to fight the manifestations of corruption, pointing out that the survey comes from the belief of COI of the importance of identifying the public opinions in the fight corruption field.
It is worth mentioning that COI’s law no.30 of 2011- Article (10) /Eight stipulated: that the Research and Studies Office shall prepare studies and research on corruption and its measurement, effects, causes and methods of prevention and combating it.
