CoI commissioner: CSOs are our real partner to fight corruption

Judge E`zzat Tawfiq Ja`far (commissioner of integrity) expressed the willingness of commotion to cooperate and experiences exchange with national CSOs, which he considers to be a partner in fight corruption and reduce its aims.

The commissioner of CoI, when receiving head and members of board of directors in Al-Rafidain center for dialogue in presence of IG of national intelligence body, indicated that the commission established important partnerships with the civil society organizations, confirming that these partnerships are one of requirements of convention of United Nations against corruption and one of the ways that the commission follows to disseminate the culture of integrity among the segments of society, expressing the willingness of the commission to cooperate with the center, in order to disseminate the society awareness, promote the principles of indignity and transparency in addition to develop the capacities and ablates of the commission offices.

The judge E`zzat Tawfiq Ja`far heared to the submitted explanation by head of Al-Rafidain center included the most prominent of programs, tasks, plans and projects that the center was undertaken, especially those that the commission can participate by the relations office and non-governmental organizations in the commission.

It is worth noting that the center is an independent intellectual gathering works to encourage the political, cultural and economic dialogues among the Iraqi elites in order to enhance the democracy experience, achieve the society peace and help the state institutions for self-development by submitting the experiences and strategy visions.
