The investigation Office at CoI stated a default sentence was issued seven years in jail against the representative of a Company which contracted with Ministry of Interior according to the article 444/11 of PC for causing damage in the benefit of Ministry.

The investigation office stated, in its speech the details of the case, that Al-Rusafa Criminal Court on CoI’s cases issued a sentenced in absentia against the fugitive defendant in jail; indicating that the defendant impersonate as representative of a civil company which has contract with Ministry of Interior, the accused person did not return 72 vehicles out of 100 vehicles which has been handed over to him for armoring; noting that the price of these vehicles amounted IQD (14.991.480.000).

After the court reading the legal representative of Ministry of Interior which demined the compliment against the accused person, the contract which signed between two parties, the statements of witnesses and presumption of the accused escape, the court convicted incrimination him.

The verdict, which issued last August, included an arrest warrant against the fugitive convict and seizing the movable and immovable funds and it gave affected the right to demand compensation before civil courts when the decision became final.
