CoI’s investigations office announced issuance a default sentence against former manager of agricultural bank in Al-Anbar/ Al-Furat branch; indicating that Al-Ramadi criminal court issued a rigorous imprisonment against the accused person according the article 341 PC for causing damage in public funds.

The investigation office clarified, in CoI in it speech the details of the case, that the accused person granted loans to (687) petitions for fake projects in addition to (14) forged petitions which caused damage in public funds amounted IQD (3.800.152.000). He did not take the legal actions to obtain the payments of those loans and did not organize a record containing the names of borrowers according priority which facilitated the manipulation in priority of granting loans.

After the court reading the statements of legal representative of Agricultural Bank and approval of Minister of finance on the report of investigative committee which recommended the neglectful of the fugitive the accused. The court satisfied that the obtained evidences were enough to convict the accused for causing huge damage in public funds. The verdict included an arrest warrant against the convict under the article 341PC No.111 of 1969 and it gave an affected entity the right to demand compensation before civil courts when the decision became final.
