Al-Basra investigation office in COI announced managing to seize the contractual documents of Al-Basra Oil Company to purchase two vessels amounted to 30 million dollars because it did not match the required specifications.

The office clarified that the purpose of purchasing the two vessels was to use it in logistical support to the port of Faw oil, where the office conformed the approval of the inspection committee assigned by Al-Basra Oil Company concerning matching the required specifications during the operation of inspection in the UAE.

The primary investigation indicated after conducting the operation of inspection of the vessels and it clarified that it did not used since 2016 and they were badly damaged.

The office conformed to organize a proper minutes of all the contractual documents according to judicial memo, in addition to submit the investigating documents before the competent investigation judge to adopt the appropriate legal measures.
