The investigation office in CoI cleared about seizure operation which carried by Anbar Health Office, which lead to return more than (6.000.000.000) dinars to State Treasury and arrest of several officials in Health Office and Al-Rafidain Bank in the governorate.

In the course of discussing the case, the investigation office at CoI clarified the seizing operation details. The staffs of Anbar Investigation Office seized five checks in Al-Rafidin Bank issued by Health Office in the governorate under which beneficiary’s address in vouchers and checks stubs have been changed confirming that the drafting of these checking from Al-Rafi Bank-Anbar branch- as deduction from popular mobilization and displaced persons but the director of accounts of the Health office and his assistants changed the checks by delisting in order to receive the amounts of checks in cash.

It explained, that the deducted amounts were from the salaries of employees of Anbar Health Office which allocated to support the popular mobilization and relief the displaced persons, referring to the staff of Anbar Investigation Office seized the origin of vouchers and checks stubs in accounts of Health Office.

It added, that the arrest carried out against the Director General of Al-Rafidain Bank/ Anbar Branch, Accounts Director of Al-Anbar Health Office and number of office’s employees according to arrest warrants. The legal minutes organized including all seized exhibits and the accused persons; presented before the competent investigating judge; who decided arrest them pending an investigation.

Commission of Integrity revealed, last April that the manipulated vouchers more than one billion dinars were seized in Al-Anbar Health office which were dedicated to popular mobilization and displaced persons.
