Two properties worth 3 billion dinars in Kirkuk returned to state ownership

COI’s staff in Kirkuk investigation office seized two suspects in two separated operations, they seized two state-owned properties worth 3,000,000,000 dinars. The properties located in the center of Kirkuk Governorate, their area is about 60 dunums and transfer their ownership through fraud and forgery.    

Investigation office/COI, while talking about the details of the two seizure operations, which were carried out according to two writs, indicated that the staff of the Office, as a result of follow-up and scrutiny, managed to seize two suspects took posse-ssion of two properties owned by the Ministry of Finance and Directorate of Municipality of Kirkuk; their area is about 60 dunums, the land was divided into areas of (200) square meters per piece. 
  
COI added that the total plots of lands which were sold from one of the two properties are (95) pieces. As for the other property, the defendant was caught in act according to the provisions of the article 240PC, while he was dividing the property against the law. COI mentioned that seizure minute with seized exhibits was organized, as well as the investigative documents presented to competent investigation judge to take appropriate legal action. It is noteworthy that COI, in the fifth of last month, announced that lands more than two billion dinars and half a billion were returned to state ownership in Kirkuk.
