COI revealed their successful efforts on following up the files of extradition, where the Jordanian authorities arrested the convicted fugitive Dhya Faris Habeib Al-Khayon the former DG of Al-Rafidain Bank.

The Extradition Office expressed in the course of its speech about the detailed of the warrant arrest operation on the convicted fugitive that it had sent four files of extradition of the convicted Al-Khayon to the Jordanian judiciary authority; moreover he was wanted by Iraqi justice according to the provisions of the articles 340,331,341 PC. Three decisions were issued against him from Misdemeanor and Criminal Courts and it amounted to 12 years.

It was worth to mention that COI efforts succeeded in this year to extradite the convicted fugitive persons wanted to Iraqi justice whom assumed high positions after 2003 as the former minister of Trade Ministry Falah Hassan Al-Sudane and the former Secretary-General of Ministry of Defense Tareq Al-Qattan.
