The relations office with non-governmental organizations in CoI Organized expanded forum of Civil Society Organization in the provinces of (Basra, Thi-Qar, Maysan and Muthanna), as a part of the cultural program (hand in hand with integrity), in order to activate the role of these organizations to fight corruption.

DG of the above office indicated in his word in the forum hosted by Al-Basra province to the commissioner`s confirmation on looking to a world, where corruption level is law, and our country be free from corruption, as it has been cleaned from terrorism, pointing out those oversight bodies, which stand in the forefront who fight corruption, are doing their best to prevent and fight corruption accordance with powers granted by law, stressing that the commission is going on and determined to fight corruption, after has been lifted all red lines since mid-2015.

DG submitted a definition of program ( hand in hand with integrity) which organized in cooperating with UNDP in Iraq, to define the role played by Civil Society Organizations and the public society in Iraq, for being real partners to fight corruption, clarifying that the program is working on establishment the relations and networks with these organizations to send the commission`s mission to enhance the integrity values and disseminate its culture in public and privet sectors in fight against corruption up to society characterized by integrity and rejected the corruption.

The representatives of civil society organizations indicated that the principle of accountability and transparency are the basis of real relation between state and civil society, pointing out that the state is responsible before its citizens and shall provide data and documented reports for its works, clarifying that the role`s effectiveness of civil society of organizations and citizen in fight against corruption through improvement of internal accounting system in each foundation and establishment organizations concern with the accounting and transparency.

The participants in the forum confirmed, need for accounting the corrupters without prejudice, and facilitating the work of civil society organizations to view information, in addition to implement the joint programs to raise awareness of corruption danger, and education in the field of Human Development.
