The specialized court in corruption cases had issued final judgments against 27 employees convicted with corruption in several provinces.
The crimes committed by the criminals included forgery, misusing of power and breaching regulations in the social welfares dept. as well as misreporting corruptions cases caused of damaging in the public interests. CoI legal offices said.
The sentences were varied from imprisonments for different periods and imposing fines against the convicted employees working for ministries of oil, interior affairs, communications, electricity, education, housing and construction, Shiites Divan, the political prisoners, Commission of Integrity, commission of elections in the provinces of Nineveh, May San, Babil and Karbala.
