CoI renews its call to heads officials to urge their employees to sign code of conduct and kept it in their files.
Team from prevention office in CoI emphasizes through a symposium in Minister of Municipalities and Works that the code of conduct is contractual formula between employer and his office meet to perfect performance to his official functions, not discriminated among the citizens, respects of secret of information, avoid illegal uses or embezzlement of public money and blackmail the citizens.
The CoI,s representatives bring the attention that there are inspectors from CoI will begin visits to the different government offices as soon as possible to check the employees files and registering the empty code of conduct forms dully signed after notifying the employees about it`s contained.
The speakers in symposium emphasized on the responsibility of general inspectors and senior officials to educate the employees about the items of code, its legal deeds, its role in fighting corruption, consolidation the confidence between the citizens and government, raising the capacity of the performance public institutions, its services to the citizens and carrying out developing programs.
Through the symposium raised many questions and important indicators first of all more contributions from media to educate the employees by code of conduct and the content of the disciplinary law and public service act, legal provisions, penalties of administrative and penal against violators.
The speakers emphasized on the important of review of levels of salaries and wages to insure the respectful living level under increasing of levels of inflation and prevent the employees from gaining their needs by illegal means.
