Anti Bribery … CoI teams performed a field visits to the state offices

Last June, The Anti bribery operation teams in CoI curried out a series of visits to a number of state offices in Baghdad to check there procedures to prevent utilize and extort the petitioners.

 

The visits include the offices of real estates registry in AL-Karkh as well as kadhimiyah and AL-Rysafah as well as Al-Aadamiyah and the notary of Sadir City.

 

The visits included also the Civil Status offices in AL-Rissafa, AL-Karrada, AL-Yarmouk Hospital, public passports, karkh taxes, karkh education, and the Inspector general for Ministry of Interior and for the Public traffic directorate.

 

The visits aimed to verify the guaranty of surveillance procedures within the state offices such as installing of monitoring cameras , unexpected tours to the responsible officials in their sections, verify the petitioners and check the smoothly completion of works and the steps taken to curry out the idea of one place for submitting petition.

 

In the same side a team from transparency section in CoI prevention office performed visits to the housing fund related to the ministry of construction and housing and the inspector general office as well as the planning department in trade ministry.

 

The functional conduct section in prevention office organizes colloquium to the employees of financial ministry about the requirements of higher employed performance and the responsibility of public officials within the list of functional code of conduct as a legal guaranty to prevent corrupt practices in the state institutions.
