CoI: CoI special operations unit caught in the act, cooperating and coordinating with the executive authorities and according to judicial orders, an official extorting a company to award supplying a four wheel drive contract.
The case indicated that the suspect bargained the head of the supplying company to pay (170,000.00) USD upon awarding the company a contract to supply the government with (350) 4-wheel drive vehicles.
Coordinating with the security authorities, the suspect was filmed while receiving the bribe, after marking the money, he was arrested red handed. He confessed before the investigation Judge and claimed that he had a partner working for one of the governmental entities.
The Judicial authorities are investigating the suspect, his alleged partner, his embezzlements and extortions that he might be conducted before to pass deals or illegal contracts.
