Their total amounts of moneys are (451) Billion I.D… CoI offices refer 1590 corruption cases to courts

CoI offices reached, last April, the highest rates of accomplished investigations regarding corruption practices and referred the responsible people to courts.

 

Statistics of the legal affairs office showed a continuous progress of the investigation offices performance in most provinces. The outcome of April was (547) cases comparing to (395) cases in January, (316) cases in February and (332) cases in March.

 

Al Diwaniya investigations office was leading other offices by referring (89) public money misuse cases to subject courts followed by Kirkuk office with (62) cases, Al Karkh office with (59) cases, Ninawa office with (49) cases and Al-Risafa office with (46) cases.

Babel investigations office referred (41) files to courts then Al Basrah office with (35) files, Diyala office with (32) files, Wasit office with (31) files, Messan office with (28) files, Al Anbar office with (21), Karbalaa office referred (14) files while Saladin and Thi qar offices referred (8) files for each.

 

The total amount of corruption moneys that were filed and referred to courts during the first third of this year were (451,335,276) Billion I.D.
