CoI Commissioner: fighting corruption is a national responsibility

CoI Commissioner Judge Ala’a Jwad Hameed stressed on CoI major responsibility which is not only to follow the aspects of corruption and referring corruptors to the judiciary but to spread the culture of integrity between the government employees to ensure the perfect performance to serve citizens and provide the terms of success in rebuilding Iraq based on right and deep basis. While meeting with AL-Najaf, Karbala and Babel Governors, CoI Commissioner assured that accomplishing national duties cannot be achieved only within the legal frame of CoI responsibilities but with the real cooperation and gathering the efforts of all government facilities each according to his responsibilities and position as high ranking officials and employees.
CoI Commissioner expressed his big optimism over the next level, it will wittiness a high cooperation and coordination between CoI offices and the government facilities to observe and block corruption and expose corruptors. He also said, that these duties even if it is left over CoI as a legal responsibility but it still a responsibility left over each honest person who rejects to live in a corrupt environment deforms honest citizens.
On the same level, CoI Commissioner urges, throughout his visits, the Commission employees in Diwanya, Wasit, Missan and Basra to be more precise, transparent, clear and careful in achieving their duties focusing on CoI great responsibility concerning the public money and government interests from one side and citizen’s reputation and future from the other side.
Also, CoI teams conducted a questionnaire in AL-Najaf, Karbala and Missan directorates to survey citizen’s opinion about tax, passport, Jinsya, real estate registry, traffic, retirement and hospitals directorates and to shed light on the citizen’s point of view about the nature of the work in these directorates and successes and failure in their petitions.
