CoI special operations department captured selling of water pipes in Al-Manathira County water office in Najaf were already prepared for water pipe grid. A work team from special operation department was formed after receiving and checking information on this subject. The team rushed to Najaf city and made an ambush to a long vehicle (trailer) was carrying and unloading these pipes in a warehouse owned by a merchant who purchased it from the head of Al-Manathira County water office.
The merchant confessed that he has been purchasing these materials periodically from the mentioned official who, in his turn, stores these materials and registers it as if it were equipped to the public projects while he was selling it for his own benefit. An arrest warrant was issued against him.
