AL-Rysafa Criminal Court sentenced, the commander of the quick reaction force in MOI, for two years and 1,100,000 Million ID as a fine for bribery. He was arrested red-handed in March 2011 after getting bribe from a contractor.
It is worth mentioning that a team from the Special Operation Dept. executed this operation against the mentioned accused however he escaped, after he assaulted the mentioned team, and after that he turned himself over to CoI according to Prime Minister’s order. In other hand, the Court authorized CoI to take legal action to recover, 50 thousand Dollars, the bribery value.
